Nazma Ali is a volunteer for Artawe online resource for the arts in Swansea.
She is a performance artist, has studied an BA Hons in Surface Pattern and Design at Swansea Metropolitan University as well as a PGCE in Art and Design, MA Fine Art Contemporary Dialogues june 2011.
Her work addresses and investigates the relationship between current western art and Islamic Culture with an emphasis on female identity, through painting, performance, body art and video.
Nazma has a passion for cooking and sharing food she feels the creative process of cooking is a performance in itself and if you put love into the process you receive love 10 fold.
